Prepare yourselves for very bad lighting and a lot of speculation!
We found ourselves in the middle of a very night-out-heavy week, so we grabbed the chance to shoot the outfits out in the wild. Does that mean we will be wearing a lot of black and be surrounded by darkness? Yes! (So maybe it’s best to just click the links.)
STELLA AT THE CINEMA

After acquiring my second pair of jeans after Christmas, they have become my weekend staple. I’m not at the wear-jeans-to-work level yet, but I must say I enjoy their versatility. So, I even chose jeans for a relaxed night out at the movies.
I love autumn and spring because I can just wear a shirt, a blazer, and a light jacket and call it a day (or night!). Here, I played with blue-on-blue-on-white and added the red blazer to break the monotony, along with a silk scarf for its obvious beauty. The wine loafers are the perfect color to balance the 2(+1) colors.
STELLA AT ΤΑΒΕΡΝΑ ΤΩΝ ΦΙΛΩΝ

(I started with the only colorful outfit just to trick you, really. Now, back to regular programming.)
For months on end, I was obsessed with the idea of wearing a fringed silk mantón over a suit. So, I waited patiently to visit Andalusia, buy one, and style it. How did I get this idea? After watching Tarkovsky’s The Sacrifice. I fell in love with a piano shawl and had been searching for one ever since.
I would never style it romantically over a dress, but I was fixated on pairing it with a suit. Would it be better if you could see exactly what I’m wearing? Maybe—but let’s leave some things to the imagination.
STELLA AT ONASSIS STEGI (THE THEATRE)

I’ve been obsessed with things hanging from garments since forever, and in the last few years, fabric panels have transformed into fringes and embroideries. I really like where this is going—let’s see what will be hanging next.
The thing that ties the look together (like a rug would, you know!) is the abstract crab brooch, it’s just so much fun! And, of course, my favorite shoes of the moment: the slipper-like Bode loafers. I thought I’d feel like a Renaissance prince in them, but actually, I feel like the bee’s knees.

Can you tell that I hate being photographed in public?
Bonus: My Night-Out Kit

This is actually a combined kit for different night out occasions. First, we have the snacks for the cinema —something garlic-based for me, of course, followed by coffee to counter the smell. Not that anyone should mind; I've carefully selected a group of people around me with either a very poor sense of smell or a deep love for garlic.
I always carry opera goggles to the theater—not so much to see better, but for show. I think they are one of the most elegant entertainment accessories.
And where would I put all that? Inside a fringy (naturally!) bag. Because really, how much fringe is enough fringe?
ALEXANDRA AT THE THEATRE (OK WE WERE TOGETHER)
Of course, we were together at the theater, because who in their right mind would miss the absolute deity that is Isabelle Huppert in Castellucci’s Bérénice? Well, us… if we hadn’t managed to get tickets. But we did!

And so, for the occasion, I wore a black silk jumpsuit, short enough to reveal a peek of lace fishnet black tights (because sometimes I like to sprinkle a little romance into my life) and high-necked enough to keep the exposure levels balanced. I pulled it all together with leather and silver hints: a belt for a cinched in waist, knee-high heeled and tight boots, and the commitment to keeping things monochrome, just sultry enough to feel like I was getting away with something.

ALEXANDRA AT THE BAR
Here I am, featuring myself at one of my favourite cocktail jazz bars. This one’s Nine’s in NYC, but if you’re wondering about my favourite one in Athens (which you should be), it’s Santarosa in Exarcheia.

I don’t really go out for drinks much, but when I do, it has to be done right and worth it! So, obviously, I choose to wear one of my absolute favourite 2WO+1NE=2 dresses (possibly the favourite), the Cave Spider Dress. It comes with incorporated silver-plated jewellery framing the revealing yet structured bodice, which means zero effort figuring out what to accessorize with.
The dress is maxi, so I did the only logical thing and paired it with sky-high ankle boots to further elongate the already elongated silhouette. And, of course, the particularly long black wool Mandukhai coat, the only coat worthy of a maxi dress, because coats that awkwardly cut off above the hemline, are absolutely not. And because I love the idea of carrying literally nothing but still needing a bag, I added a micro black leather one.
A little bit of sleek, a little bit of sexy, and a whole lot of "where is she going?", exactly the feeling my night out deserves.
FOR A NIGHT STROLL

And then there are those nights where I just start walking—like, really walking—and completely forget why I even left the house. Next thing I know, I'm strolling around the city for hours. For me, not every night out needs a purpose or a destination.
For those moments, I reach for something that achieves the perfect balance between nonchalance and refinement. Sportswear has never been my thing, and it never will be. Instead, relaxed trousers and an oversized shirt in fine cotton alongside my classic Dr. Martens, is my ultimate uniform for those effortlessly undefined nights.
Bonus: My Night-Out Kit

Here’s a peek inside my very personal night-out kit, I guess. First off, my drink lineup: gin & tonic is obviously a classic choice for me, but if I happen upon a place serving exceptional espresso martinis, well, I’m practically theirs. If I’m going alcohol-free (which happens sometimes when I’m driving), Diet Coke is the mood.
Now, when it comes to what matters most by night, it’s smelling exceptionally good (a good eau de parfum and a mint toothpaste are everything you need). As for looking good, dark burgundy nails and lipstick are my signature move, and thankfully, Isayama Ffrench has provided us with a packaging that makes the whole thing feel even more special..
I’m also super into choker necklaces and especially if they’re all shimmering and fine. As for my “only-the-essentials” bag, it’s never without a key chain and a power bank. Both essential, naturally. And with April’s transitional weather, a wool coat feels wrong, so I reach instead for a cotton-tencel overcoat, which is just perfect for the night.
VALISIA IN A CONCERT

So, half my life is fashion and the other half is music. The best nights out? Gigs, obviously. Bonus points if a friend is playing. Last Thursday, Clan of Xymox played in Athens which I didn’t really care cause I’ve seen them before. But, Tango Mangalore, a musician I really admire and at the same time I am happy to call my friend, was on the bill too, and that changed everything. Now, the eternal question: what do you wear to a gig? Comfort is key, but let’s be honest, you have to add a bit of pizzaz. I went with the Κιόνια mini skirt and one of my favourite custom-made shirts. I love this shirt because of the dramatic hanging strips that move with the music. They sway just enough to make a statement—but not enough to whip the person next to me in the face. Balance is everything! Hahah
VALISIA IN A CLUB

Let’s get one thing straight—when I say club, I don’t mean some mainstream spot blasting top 40 hits. I’m talking about shadowy, underground venues where dark electro and EBM reign supreme. Think my beloved Selofan kind of vibe. Now, what’s the go-to outfit for a place like this? Probably something tight, sheer, and quite revealing. But where’s the fun in being predictable? Enter my look: the “Πάνορμος” trousers and the “Algarroba” blouse—an androgynous mix of sharp and dark elegance. The balance between masculine tailoring and feminine details creates tension - and tension is always sexy. The cinched waist, courtesy of my trusty Levi’s belt, shapes things up just enough without screaming look at me. And to top it all off, the Aumorfia “Pentad Plus” choker—a perfect little nod to aristocratic bondage. Alright now, enough talk—let’s hit the dance floor!
Bonus: My Night-Out Kit

Going out —whether to a gig or a club— is an art, and like any good artist, I come prepared. My going-out kit is a fine-tuned balance of practicality, vanity, and pure dedication to the cause.
First up, earplugs —because I want to enjoy music for life, not just for tonight. Then, a COS bottle holder—hydration is important, even in the depths of a smoke-filled underground venue. A detangler brush is also essential. I accept that my hair will end up a tragic mess, but I refuse to live like that. And of course, I always buy the artist’s vinyl—supporting musicians is crucial.
Now, whether it’s a club or a concert, some things are non-negotiable:
Eyeliner—because if it smudges, I want it to be intentional.
A pack of gum—for fresh breath and as an emergency bribe.
My favorite perfume—because smelling good is a personality trait.
The Vagabond Vivian boots—perfect with both skirts and trousers, built for dancing, stomping, and making an exit in style.
World’s Appreciated Kitsch scarf—not just an accessory, but a necessity, since I usually ride off into the night on a motorcycle like a “son of anarchy”.
With this kit, I’m ready for anything—from dancing ‘til dawn to making a dramatic exit into the city streets.
Have fun and we hope to see you this Saturday the 5th!
