Personally, I love knitwear because it is ideal for those days when you want to be comfortable with minimal effort, yet still looking chic. Don’t be mistaken, though! Knitwear is far from being limited to casual looks; with the right styling, it can easily be elevated for a more polished appearance. This is actually my favourite outfit of all. Fashion is all about creativity, and there’s no rule that says you must wear your clothes exactly as intended. Don’t be afraid to experiment and play around with different styling ideas. For instance, while putting on my sweater, I discovered that using just one sleeve transformed it into a chic, cape-like piece. And just like that—voilà! A bold, uncomplicated look with no additional elements required.

I have vivid memories of my mother draping a large scarf over her coat, wearing it like a cape—a style that left a lasting impression on me. Drawing inspiration from her timeless elegance, I’ve reinterpreted the idea here. This cozy sweater is so warm that a coat becomes unnecessary, making it the perfect foundation for my look. To complete the look, since the sweater’s oversized silhouette creates a sense of volume, I balanced it out with the sleek Reykjavík straight skirt for a more polished and harmonious ensemble. The skirt is truly ideal, with its circular slit offering a subtle glimpse of leg, adding both movement and a touch of allure as you stroll through the streets.
